Right on the heels of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Cornell University Law School’s Legal Information Institute (LII), the Cornell Law Library will partner with the Legal Information Preservation Alliance (LIPA), Mid-American Law Library Consortium (MALLCO), and NELLCO Law Library Consortium (NELLCO) to launch LawArXiv , a free, publicly available, open source repository of legal scholarship and other resources.

The repository will contain legal scholarship along with pre-prints, published papers and data sets containing law-related material. Administrators hope that the repository will also eventually house multimedia resources, course materials and ongoing collaborative projects among legal scholars.
