Edward DuMont, an appellate litigation partner in the D.C. office of WilmerHale, has been nominated for a vacancy on the Federal Circuit, the White House announced Wednesday. DuMont, a member of WilmerHale's appellate and Supreme Court litigation practice group, joined the firm in 2002. Before entering private practice, he spent several years as an assistant to the U.S. Solicitor General. DuMont's nomination is the second that President Barack Obama has made to the Federal Circuit.
