The case of Genarlow Wilson, convicted of aggravated child molestation for having what he says was unforced oral sex with a 15-year-old girl when he was 17, made headlines after Georgia's high court refused to hear his appeal. Now, a state senator is taking a cue from the presiding judge, by introducing legislation that he says he hopes will allow a judge to re-sentence Wilson under a more lenient provision. Wilson is currently serving a 10-year sentence.
