A federal jury needed less than an hour Thursday to convict attorney Perry S. Reich of forging a magistrate judge's order and lying to the government to cover it up. One juror credited Assistant U.S. Attorney Amy Busa's closing arguments with convincing him that Reich had faxed the fake order to an adversary to embarrass him and turn the magistrate judge against him. Reich, who was accused of forgery, lying to the government and obstruction of a civil lawsuit, faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.
