A California appeals court has ruled that Roger Rabbit's creator might be entitled to royalties on promotional agreements Disney signed for the hit film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" Gary Wolf contended he was due 5 percent of gross receipts on all such deals, while Disney argued he was entitled to only those in which it received cash. The appeals court ruled that, in the entertainment industry, "gross receipts" could mean more than cash only.
