Latham & Watkins and a host of seven other regional law firms have advised Indonesia courier J&T Global Express Ltd. on the launch of its initial public offering in Hong Kong. The listing, which raised approximately $501 million, is the second largest this year, following the $676 million listing of Chinese liquor-maker ZJLD Group in April.
As of Oct. 12, there have been 51 public offerings on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, according to the exchange. All of its issuers this year are based in greater China. J&T’s listing on the bourse makes the company the first foreign firm to raise funds in the city in 2023.
