Colombian pop star Shakira has appointed a criminal defense lawyer with a CV of high-profile acquittals in her dispute with Barcelona prosecutors over alleged tax fraud.
The singer is using Pau Molins Amat, according to her PR agency. Molins Amat founded Molins Defensa Penal in 1994 and is the firm’s managing partner.
