Linklaters is advising the planned smart city of Neom on the procurement and development of its residential communities’ project, a social infrastructure scheme that will house the growing workforce carrying out an array of projects in northwest Saudi Arabia.

Neom has finalised contracts with investors worth a total of SAR21bn ($5.6bn), the law firm said in a statement, “making it one of the largest international public-private partnerships for accommodation”.
