The exodus of European law firms from involvement with Russia is gathering pace, with major firms in the Netherlands, Sweden and Spain announcing withdrawals from business in the region as the invasion of Ukraine enters a second week.
The Dutch firm Houthoff said it is terminating its client relationship with the Russian Federation and “associated persons and companies,” citing “the acts of war by the Russian Federation in Ukraine.”
