It has been a landmark week in a way. After 18 months of lockdown in which people traveled into London sporadically if at all, the tubes and trains filled up and the City was truly busy once again.
September always has a ‘back to school’ feel to it, but this ‘back to the office’ sensation will be a line in the sand for many in their career journey. Even though the majority of commercial lawyers plan to have a hybrid office-and-home working system, the experience of commuting regularly again will make it seem like a new era.
