Blank Rome has announce that Alice M. Hodsden, based in Los Angeles, and Paula Vigo Marqués, based in Washington, D.C., have joined the firm as associates in the financial institutions litigation and regulatory compliance group. Hodsden joins from Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders and focuses her practice on representing lenders, mortgage servicers, and other financial institutions regarding an array of regulatory and compliance issues as well as federal and state litigation matters. Marqués joins Blank Rome from Venable and focuses her practice on helping clients navigate the complex laws and regulations that apply to the financial services industry.

Gomez Trial Attorneys has recently welcomed Brian Mason from Mercury Insurance Company, where Mason served as in-house counsel. In 2017, Mason also accepted a part-time position as an adjunct professor of law teaching Legal Writing II at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Mason will focus his work on representing people and families that have suffered catastrophic harm because of the conduct of others.
