On Jan. 27, Fort Worth Excavating Inc. sued two lawyers and two firms that represented the company before the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

In Fort Worth Excavating Inc. v. Hardberger, et al., filed in Tarrant County’s 342nd District Court, the company brings claims alleging breach of contract, negligence and legal malpractice. The named defendants are Hall, Estill, Hardwick, Gable, Golden & Nelson and shareholder J. Derek Hardberger of the firm’s Oklahoma City office, and Brown McCarroll and Austin partner Lorinda Holloway. [See the petition.]
