Apache, an energy company developing natural gas and oil, filed a complaint for declaratory judgment Wednesday in Texas Southern District Court. The complaint, brought by Ahmad, Zavitsanos & Mensing, seeks a declaration that Apache has no obligation to indemnify LLOG Exploration Co. in underlying environmental litigation. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 4:22-cv-02019, Apache Corporation v. LLOG Exploration Company, L.L.C.
