A mother and daughter who suffered spinal injuries when their car collided with a school bus agreed to a $1.775 million settlement in their Monmouth County suit, Pindar v. Sample, on March 18.

Twinkle Hardeo was driving on Lewis Street in Eatontown on March 24, 2015, when a school bus failed to yield and struck the right side of her vehicle, according to plaintiff’s lawyer James Maggs of Maggs, McDermott & DiCicco in Wall Township. Hardeo’s mother, Toomandai Pindar, was riding in the passenger seat. The bus was driven by Rochelle Sample and owned by the Monmouth Regional High School.
