The New York City Bar Association reported a data breach impacting more than 27,000 of its members and employees’ information, according to a recent filing the association made to Maine’s attorney general on Nov. 17.

A bar association spokesman confirmed to the Law Journal on Tuesday that on Dec. 24, 2022, the bar experienced a cybersecurity incident that impacted connectivity to its network.
