Two years after its launch, startup Trustate, which looks to streamline the estate administration process, is realizing the importance of data in the trust and estate process—and just how overlooked it can be.

The woman-owned startup, which was launched during the first year of the pandemic, recently launched a new asset and liability discovery tool to provide trusts and estates professionals with visibility into a decedent’s work and property history, bankruptcy filings, outstanding loans, closed credit cards and more.
