Linklaters, Slaughter and May and Eversheds Sutherland have landed roles on the £2.5 billion combination between house building giants Barratt and Redrow.

Barratt, which was first founded in 1958 and has built more than 500,000 homes, is joining forces with rival housebuilding company Redrow, another veteran of the sector with over 50 years in business and behind 120,000 homes come together in a £2.5 billion transaction.
