Last year, the office of Houston personal injury lawyer Brian White became The Office. White played his own version of Michael Scott, a goofy but well-meaning boss who summoned his staff to a common area to brief everyone on the creation of TikToks.

In a TikTok video with more than 2 million views, White maintains actor Steve Carrell’s dry delivery as he explains how clients should handle insurance companies. The camera operator zooms in on employees’ faces for tight reaction shots that mimic the hit TV show, while White’s staff members play the parts of bewildered employees.
