The lead attorney for the class, whose information was compromised in a data breach involving a national specialty pharmaceutical, obtained a $2.2 million settlement that a federal district court in Orlando preliminarily approved.

John Yanchunis, a partner at Morgan & Morgan who declined to comment, was among the attorneys appointed class counsel for the approximately 350,000 member class, whose data was compromised in the fall of 2021 when the defendant, BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy Services LLC, suffered a data breach.
