A South Florida attorney—who recently landed President Donald Trump as a client in a case in which the former president is suing more than 50 defendants—said he is used to being underestimated.

Coming out of Western Law in London, Canada, Peter David Ticktin, a senior partner at Ticktin Law Group in Deerfield Beach, said he had a “meteoric rise” stemming from his legal advocacy in an otherwise ordinary careless driving case.
