What was your route to the top?

While I humbly acknowledge that I am involved in the most senior level of our firm’s leadership, and so presumably the word “top” is appropriate, I don’t know that I would envision myself as being perched there in a static position. Instead, I feel more drawn to images that reflect a leadership-by-example style that endeavors to elevate the professionalism and practice of us all. From a routing perspective, over the last 14 years, I served on a variety of committees and lent my voice to client experience-type initiatives. I then accepted a geographic leadership role, followed by an at-large Board seat, and then a nation-wide professional development leadership role. Finally, three years ago I was invited by our Chairman to join the Executive Committee.
