Chegg Inc., the Santa Clara, California-based education technology company, announced this week that Pac-12 general counsel Woodie Dixon Jr. will be leading the company’s legal department beginning Sept. 8.

Dixon will be based in the company’s Santa Clara office when employees return to work. He will oversee 10 full-time employees and one contractor. Dixon replaces Dave Borders as the company’s general counsel. Borders stepped down from his role in February, according to his LinkedIn profile.
