San Francisco-based peer-to-peer car-sharing company Turo Inc. has sued Los Angeles in an attempt to curtail the fees it must pay for users to access Los Angeles International Airport.
Turo claims that California law distinguishes car-sharing companies from the traditional rental car industry, but that the city is attempting to charge it the same fees as companies such as Enterprise, which require more airport infrastructure.
