David Robinson has been appointed chief campus counsel of UC Berkeley after serving in the role on an interim basis for nine months, the university announced Thursday.
University of California, Berkeley searched nationwide to fill the role, chancellor Carol Christ said in her announcement of Robinson’s appointment, following the death of the school’s last chief campus counsel Christopher Patti in a hit-and-run in August 2017.
