King & Spalding has hired Cooley trial lawyer James Brogan to boost its intellectual property practice in Northern California.
Brogan, who spent 17 years at Cooley and chaired the firm’s intellectual property practice from 2012 to 2016, said he made the move to continue working with longtime colleague and fellow IP litigator Thomas Friel Jr., who joined King & Spalding in February from Cooley.
