Kim is based in Irvine, and Altman, Miller and Nesburn are all based in Los Angeles.
Two attorneys joined Baker McKenzie’s San Francisco office: partner Michael Brewer and counsel Vincent Schroder. Brewer focuses his practice on employment litigation and Schroder focuses his practice on data privacy.
California Appellate Law Group opened a location in Los Angeles. Two attorneys, John Derrick and Sharon Baumgold, staff the new office. The firm also hired two attorneys in its San Francisco office: Susan Yorke and Jennifer Teaford.
Duane Morris promoted two attorneys in San Francisco to partner: Marcus Colabianchi in the business reorganization and financial restructuring practice group and Justin Fields in the trial practice group.

Becky James has been named managing partner of Greenberg Gross’ Los Angeles office. James is chairwoman of the firm’s appellate practice group. Before joining the firm, she served for 12 years in the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Michelman & Robinson brought on David Johnson as a partner in its San Francisco office. Johnson focuses his practice on representing health care providers and handling health care-related transactional matters.
Chitra Kalyanaraman joins Maynard Cooper & Gale’s San Francisco office as of counsel in the firm’s intellectual property practice group. She previously was an associate at Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto in Washington, D.C.
Newmeyer & Dillion has promoted Graham Mills to partner in its Walnut Creek office. Mills focuses on complex insurance law.
Richard McNeil joins Crowell & Moring’s Irvine office as a partner in the firm’s environmental and natural resources group. Previously, McNeil was at Snell & Wilmer.
Benjamin Pelletier joined Venable as counsel in its San Francisco office. Pelletier advises clients on patent assets in the biotech, pharmaceutical, life science and medical device industries.
Rudy Exelrod Zieff & Lowe promoted Michelle Lee and Erin Pulaski to partner in San Francisco. Lee focuses her practice on individual and class action litigation regarding employment issues. Pulaski also focuses on employment litigation with an emphasis on wrongful termination and discrimination.
Lillian Stenfeldt joined Rimon Law as a partner in its bankruptcy and restructuring group. Stenfeldt previously was chairwoman at Sedgwick’s bankruptcy practice, and is based in San Francisco and Silicon Valley.
Matthew Stewart joined Weil, Gotshal & Manges in its Silicon Valley office as a partner. Stewart was previously a partner at King & Spalding and will be part of Weil’s private equity practice.
Loeb & Loeb brought on Oleg Stolyar as a partner in its Los Angeles office. Stolyar previously was co-chairman of the fiduciary litigation practice at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, and joins Loeb & Loeb’s litigation practice.
Sideman & Bancroft promoted Kirsten Wolff to partner. Wolff’s practice focuses on estate planning and administration.
