Hinshaw & Culbertson brought on Dennis Lueck Jr. as a partner in the firm’s consumer financial services group. Lueck will be based in the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office.
Marc Morley joined Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo as a member in the San Diego office. Morley’s practice focuses on strategic patent and trademark counseling and prosecuting complex IP portfolios. He joins from Foley & Lardner’s IP practice.
Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith brought on Ryan Nilsen as a partner in its products liability practice in the San Diego office. Nilsen is a trial attorney and previously was a partner at Bowman and Brooke.
Pryor Cashman brought on Michael Novicoff as a partner in the firm’s litigation, media and entertainment practice. Novicoff joins as a partner from Liner and will be based in Pryor Cashman’s Los Angeles office.
Craig Schloss joined Cozen O’Connor as a member in the firm’s labor and employment practice. Schloss will be based in the San Diego office and previously was a principal at Jackson Lewis.
Switzerland’s Greater Zürich Area AG has named Friedemann Thomma an honorary ambassador for work helping Zürich Area’s economic region. Thomma has worked to handle corporate international tax planning issues for the area. He is chair of Venable’s international tax practice and based out of the firm’s San Francisco and Los Angeles offices.
Julie Treppa has joined the San Francisco office of Farella Braun + Martel as a partner in the tax group. Treppa previously served as chair of the tax practice group at Coblentz Patch Duffy & Bass.
