Peter Ippolito has joined the San Diego office of Andrews Lagasse Branch & Bell as of counsel. Ippolito has previously served as assistant general counsel to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was a partner at Dentons.

Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek has added Arezoo Jamshidi in its San Diego office as an associate in the litigation and appellate department. Jamshidi’s practice focuses on civil litigation and appellate matters. She was previously an associate at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith.

Investment funds lawyer David King has joined Kirkland & Ellis‘ San Francisco office as a partner. King previously worked at The Carlyle Group as a principal.

Jeffrey Moorad is joining Morgan, Lewis & Bockius‘ Costa Mesa office as the co-lead of a global sports initiative representing clients across professional sports leagues. Moorad is the chairman and CEO of Moorad Sports Partners, and has worked as an agent to athletes. He is a previous owner of the San Diego Padres.

Angela Onwuachi-Willig has been appointed the American Bar Foundation‘s 2017-2018 William H. Neukom fellows research chair in diversity and law. Onwuachi-Willig is the chancellor’s professor of law at University of California, Berkeley’s School of Law.

Keslie Stewart has joined the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office as head attorney of the Public Integrity Unit. Stewart previously served in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for 12 years, and will oversee investigations involving government ethics, contracting fraud and city employee misconduct in her new role.

Former Federal Trade Commissioners trial attorney Henry Su has joined Constantine Cannon‘s San Francisco office as a partner in its antitrust practice. Su will represent clients in the health care, pharmaceutical, retail and technology sectors.
