D’Alessio Law Group acquired Jamae Law Group and a new partner Elizabeth Jamae. Jamae will focus on the global immigration industry.
Elliot Katz joined McGuire Woods as partner in their San Francisco office. Katz will lead the firm’s connected and automated vehicle practice and will focus on legal and policy needs for clients in the mobility sector. Katz was an associate at DLA Piper.
Kandace Watson joined Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton’s San Diego (Del Mar) office as partner in the firm’s corporate practice group. Watson was head of the mergers, acquisitions, securities and corporate team in Southern California and also led the corporate department’s Southern California chemical and life sciences and medical devices teams at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton. Watson will focus on board governance, consortium agreements, reorganizations and intellectual property licenses.
Ken Keller and Christopher Stretch joined Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. Keller will focus on patent, trademark trade dress, trade secrets, copyright, licensing, breach of contract and unfair competition litigation. Keller joins from Keller, Sloan, Roman, which he founded in 1998. Stretch will focus on inventorship disputes, antitrust claims, trade secret misappropriation, and intellectual property disputes. Stretch was special counsel at Keller Sloan.
Page Mailliard re-joined Latham & Watkins as partner in the firm’s emerging companies practice. Mailliard previously was a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
Ruby Kazi joined Hopkins & Carley as of counsel in the firm’s litigation practice. Kazi will focus on defending harassment suits and workplace violence prevention. Kazi previously was a partner at McManis Faulkner.
