Heads are rolling at Uber Technologies Inc. after an investigation by the law firm Perkins Coie recommended terminations across all levels of employment in advance of the public release of a months-long Covington & Burling investigation into the company’s culture.

On Tuesday, at an all-hands meeting, Uber fired 20 employees, a company spokesperson confirmed. The firings were the conclusion of an investigation by Perkins Coie into a former engineer’s claims of sexual harassment and discrimination. The probe is parallel to the Covington investigation led by former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder into the company’s overall culture. The Uber spokesperson said not all of the firings were for sexual harassment.
