A team of five state tax lawyers led by partner Andres Vallejo have left Morrison & Foerster to join Reed Smith’s San Francisco office. The move comes more than a month after another tax partner, R. Gregory Roberts, joined Reed Smith from MoFo in New York.
In addition to Vallejo, other MoFo lawyers leaving for Reed Smith in the Bay Area include of counsel Peter Kanter, counsel James Kratochvill and associates Priscilla Parrett and Matt Rilla. Kanter focuses his practice on property tax matters and real estate transfer tax issues, while Kratochvill primarily represents communications and e-commerce companies.
