A Minnesota woman has sued ride-hailing giant Uber after one of its drivers allegedly sexually assaulted her in his car.
The Jane Doe lawsuit filed in San Francisco federal court claims that Uber is responsible for the assault because it doesn’t perform adequate background checks on its drivers.
