SAN FRANCISCO — Having received its sentence in a case stemming from the 2010 San Bruno gas pipeline explosion, PG&E Corp. has replaced its Latham & Watkins defense team with lawyers at Jenner & Block to handle post-trial matters.

A San Francisco federal jury found the utility company guilty on six criminal counts in August: five violations of the Pipeline Safety Act and one count of obstructing the National Transportation Safety Board’s investigation into the cause of the blast which killed eight people and injured dozens more.
