SACRAMENTO — California Supreme Court Justice Leondra Kruger made history Tuesday morning when she became a mom for the second time.
Kruger, 39, gave birth to a healthy girl, making her the state’s first high court justice to have a baby while serving on the bench, according to court officials. Kruger and her husband, Jenner & Block partner Brian Hauck, released no additional details about their daughter, including her name. The couple has a young son, who attended his mother’s swearing-in ceremony a little over a year ago.
