SAN FRANCISCO — Collaborative workspace developer WeWork Cos. Inc. has called on Boies, Schiller & Flexner to fend off claims that the company wrongfully fired a worker for complaining about possible labor code violations.
The suit alleges that WeWork wrongly classified Tara Zoumer, an associate community manager, as an exempt employee, withheld overtime wages, and fired Zoumer after she discussed her complaints with other employees.
