SACRAMENTO — Some of the faces had changed but the script was largely the same this week as lawmakers delivered yet another public tongue-lashing to California’s judicial branch.

“What the hell did you do with that money?” railed Assemblyman Reggie Jones-Sawyer, D-Los Angeles, as he eyed judiciary executives assembled for the March 11 hearing on a damning audit of branch operations.
