SAN FRANCISCO — Several key players in a sex discrimination case against Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers were cast in an unflattering light Thursday during testimony from an outside lawyer who investigated accusations made by two women partners against a colleague at the venture-capital firm.
Jurors heard an unvarnished re-telling of events from San Francisco employment attorney Stephen Hirschfeld during the second week of the closely watched trial pitting Ellen Pao against her former employer in San Francisco Superior Court.
