SAN FRANCISCO — For now, plaintiffs attorneys in a wage-and-hour case against Apple Inc. will have to proceed without the benefit of knowing how a similar U.S. Supreme Court case will play out.

Ruling on Wednesday, U.S. District Judge William Alsup of the Northern District of California denied a motion from plaintiffs lawyers to stay court proceedings until after the Supreme Court rules on Integrity Staffing Solutions Inc. v. Busk.
