Austin-based Catharon Intellectual Property LLC filed a spate of lawsuits Monday accusing several companies of infringing on its patent for a system that manages programs on a computer network.

Represented by Ni, Wang & Massand, a Dallas-based intellectual property and commercial litigation firm, Catharon is seeking compensation and an injunction barring the companies from stepping on its 2000 patent for a “computerized system and associated method of optimally controlled storage and transfer of computer programs on a computer network.”
