Rudy Reyes, chief legislative counsel for Verizon Communications’ West region, has been named vice president for government affairs in California. Reyes has been with Verizon for 10 years and previously served as the telecommunications company’s regulatory counsel.
Robin Schulman is joining S.F.-based New Relic Inc. as its first general counsel. New Relic provides analytic software designed to help websites optimize performance and has long been rumored to be eyeing an IPO. Schulman was most recently legal counsel at Adobe and previously was an associate at Fenwick & West.
