No business wants to get crosswise with a group of attorneys. But that’s exactly where Acteva Inc., a San Francisco event and fundraising management company, finds itself.
The California Association of Black Lawyers this week filed suit in San Francisco Superior Court against Acteva, alleging that the company and its chief executive, Pankaj Gupta, owes the organization $26,883 in proceeds from events and membership signups.
