James Lambden, who retired in August after 17 years as a justice on the First District Court of Appeal, is joining ADR Services. He previously spent seven years on the Alameda County bench and 14 years in private practice. Lambden, who will be based in San Francisco, plans to resolve cases involving commercial contracts, trade secrets, intellectual property, employment, personal injury, probate, estate and trusts, product liability, construction, and health care law. He is a 1975 graduate of UC-Hastings College of the Law.

Richard Zolezzi, former chief strategy and legal officer for SPL WorldGroup, has joined Nixon Peabody as counsel in the firm's global business and transactions practice. Zolezzi was most recently a partner at Catapult Advisors, a boutique investment bank focused on Internet and software companies, and previously a partner at San Francisco's Lillick & Charles. During his 10 years at SPL, Zolezzi held various roles including interim president/CEO and oversaw the company's 2006 sale to Oracle Corp. He is a 1981 graduate of UC-Hastings College of Law.
