Former securities litigation partner Dorothy Fernandez has rejoined Morrison & Foerster as a pro bono counsel in San Francisco. Fernandez spent 13 years in the firm’s securities litigation, enforcement and white-collar defense group before leaving the firm in September 2012 to teach as an adjunct instructor at both Golden Gate University Law School and Santa Clara University Law School. She earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1996.

Walnut Creek-based Buchman Provine Brothers Smith has added Horace Green as a partner. Green’s practice is devoted to civil disputes, including litigation related to general business, employment, ERISA and insurance coverage. He earned his J.D. in 1984 from Stanford Law.
