The bright young thing in ticketing, Eventbrite has helped launch millions of happenings on its platform since its founding in 2006.

Eventbrite makes it easy for organizers to create, promote and manage their events. The company charges a service fee of 2.5 percent of the ticket price plus $0.99 per ticket sold, but does not charge a fee for free events or if no sales are made. The site has localized in 14 markets, and Eventbrite has partnered with organizers to process more than 125 million tickets in 179 countries to date. The company’s more than 250 employees report to its San Francisco hub, a sprawling office in the city’s SoMa district, as well as a London office.
