Greenberg Traurig has added shareholder Robert Bruce Steinert Jr. in the corporate and securities practice group in San Francisco. Prior to joining the firm, Steinert was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis in San Francisco. He received his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law – Newark.


Jeffrey Wagner has joined Miller Starr Regalia's Walnut Creek office as of counsel in the firm's new common interest development practice group. Previously, Wagner had his own practice in real estate law in Walnut Creek with an emphasis in common interest developments, representing residential developers and homeowners associations. He received his J.D. from the University of San Francisco in 1973.


Mountain View-based Turner Boyd has added Matthew Smith as partner. Smith represents clients in patent litigation and licensing matters, as well as USPTO matters in the electrical, semiconductor, software and chemical arts. He graduated from University of Wisconsin Law School in 1999.


Justine Phillips has joined Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton's Del Mar office as special counsel. As a member of the firm's labor and employment practice group, Phillips will focus her practice on employment litigation and counseling and commercial litigation. She received a J.D. from the University of San Diego Law School in 2005.
