SAN FRANCISCO John Quinn isn’t the only big-name litigator potentially in hot water with a federal judge over alleged attempts to manipulate the media.
On Tuesday, Judge William Alsup issued what some were regarding as an unprecedented order directing Oracle, Google and their lawyers to reveal the names of any journalists, academics, bloggers or other “authors” who’ve received money from one of the companies and written publicly about their high-stakes intellectual property dispute.
