Q: What do you enjoy most about being a judge?

A: Probably making decisions, trying to sort things out and coming to the right answers, looking forward to the challenge of trying to find what that right answer is, and if there isn’t anything that’s the right answer, deciding what the fairest and most appropriate result would be. Each time someone comes in it becomes something like a puzzle to put together. The good thing about being a judge is that each time people come to you, it’s a different puzzle, it’s a different problem that you have to work out. And then when they start beginning to sound the same, they change your assignment and you move to a completely different assignment. So that’s what I like the best.
