SACRAMENTO — The Commission on Judicial Performance today chastised an Orange County judge for using ethnic stereotypes to describe litigants in her domestic violence court.
In 2009, Superior Court Judge Nancy Pollard told a man accused of throwing rocks and spitting at his ex-girlfriend that such behavior appeared to be a common trait among people of Middle Eastern descent, according to a transcript provided by the commission.
