Nixon Peabody has inked an affiliation with Hong Kong law firm Cheng Wong Lam & Partners and will be sharing its office space, said San Francisco partner David Cheng, who also serves as the firm's head of the China and Asia Pacific practice. "We've been working with local firms for the past couple of years," Cheng said. "Hong Kong serves as the bridge way between the international and Chinese market." This follows earlier moves by Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher to expand in the city.
