In a crowded field of 12 candidates vying to be Los Angeles County’s next district attorney, three current and former judges have found themselves jostling to stand apart from the pack.

Current Superior Court Judges Debra Archuleta and Craig Mitchell and their former colleague, David Milton, have spent months raising campaign funds, cutting radio ads, doing interviews and debates, and attending meet-and-greets and chicken dinner events, anything to garner name recognition among the county’s 5.6 million registered voters.
